Hi there, I’m Ashton! I’m always a bit reticent to talk myself up, but since this is the space for it, I’ll give it my best shot!

I’m passionate about working with a camera in my hands, film or stills, and I’m driven to convey authentic emotion through the images I capture.

I’m fueled by new experiences and a natural curiosity—coupled with my degree in anthropology and keen observational eye, I have a knack for docu-style visual storytelling which often highlights the compelling moments hiding among the seemingly mundane.

This positions me well for documentary, editorial, and behind the scenes work, but I carry these same principles into narrative filmmaking. No matter the project, I thrive in the collaborative environment of a film set.

I’m available to work as a DP, field producer, camera operator, or stills photographer on your next production.

Currently based in small town WA, conveniently situated between Seattle & Portland and available for both domestic and international travel.
